If this review reads quite a bit like the Vanguard Endeavor ED II 8×32, it is because these Traveller’s have a very similar build size to the Vanguards. They are compact for an 8×32, but offer bigger-size performance like the Minox BL 8×33 HD or Meopta Meopro HD 8×32. They fit my eyes pretty well, though not quite as well as the Minox
MeoStar 15x56 HD. This is a brief review of the Meopta MeoStar 15x56 HD, on the market in Europe and USA since 2015. I have compared it to my other similarly sized binoculars – Docter Nobilem 15x60, Zeiss Conquest HD 15x56, Swarovski SLC 15x56, Nikon Monarch 5 16x56 -, which I had been using for several years before acquiring the new MeoStar.

Mar 13, 2016. #1. I searched this forum and found a thread from 2011 with the consensus being that the Cabelas Euro had identical optics to the Meostar. Can anyone confirm that Cabelas Euro HD has the same optics as the Meostar HD in 10x42mm? It seems odd to me that Cabelas whole line is labeled HD while only the 10x42mm Meostar has an HD variant.

Meopta specs: Weight: 32oz Dimensions: 5.5”x5.2”x2.3” Maven specs: Weight: 29.8oz Dimensions:5”x6.2”x2.1” Initial impression of the Meopta’s was the size. Being used to my mavens, just looking at the meoptas I thought it was going to be a smaller lighter bino. I was wrong. They are not as long, but they are built like a little tank.
In the 42 mm series, there's the MeoPro 8X42 HD and this 10X42 HD. It was almost a tough call deciding between the two objective lens size MeoPros to feature. In the end, the 42 mm series won out because of the slightly higher amount of positive reviews it had on the Meopta website versus the 32 mm series.
